THREE NAMED TO CHAMBER BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Cortland, NY – Three people have been elected to new posts on the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Paul Corriveau, special projects manager at Cortland Line Company; Tyson Smith, vice president for medical affairs at Cortland Memorial Hospital; and Dale Davis, assistant controller at the J.M. Murray Center, will each serve three-year terms as members of the Chamber’s 16-person board. All three were named to the posts through recent polling of the Chamber membership.

The board’s open positions were created with the completion of terms by board president Mark Travis (Good News Computing); Martha Hubbard (Tompkins Cortland Community College); and Jeff Slack (Kurtz Welding).

“We’re losing some hard working, committed people and we’re going to miss their vision and their energy, but the great thing about Cortland is that there is always someone willing to step up,” said Chamber Executive Director Garry VanGorder. “I couldn’t begin to list the contributions Mark, Martha, and Jeff have made, but we’re very fortunate to have some high quality people taking their place.”

Kellyann O’Mara, assistant vice president, KeyBank, will succeed Travis as board president, and Steve Cinquanti, Cinquanti Real Estate, was named to the board’s executive committee.

The new board members and those cycling off will be honored at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner on Tuesday, November 16, at Tinelli’s Hathaway House in Solon.

Representing more than 470 businesses in and around Cortland County, the Chamber is committed to programs and projects that help enhance the local business climate and that strengthen Cortland’s reputation as a great place to live and work.
