CHAMBER
SHOWCASE A SUCCESS
Thousands of people strolled through SUNY Cortland’s Lusk Field House March 15 during the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce’s 19th annual Business Showcase.
By all accounts, the show was a great success.
“We’re all very happy not only with the turnout but also with the quality of the exhibits we had this year,” said Chamber executive director Garry VanGorder. “It was very well done across the board.”
Four entries, in particular, were cited for their quality. Pall Trinity Micro Corp., Northern Concrete and Block, Trophy Source and Employment Connection all took home “best of show” awards for their business categories.
More than 115 exhibitors lined the 40,000-square-foot field house floor, and visitors spent their time perusing the booths and enjoying all the sights and sounds that make the showcase such a popular event.
“Business is alive and well in Cortland County,” said Chamber president Mark Travis. “The Showcase is a great way for county residents to see it for themselves.”
