What do our alumni think?

Leadership Cortland’s collective energy is a powerful influence in Cortland County and Central New York. The program is designed to stimulate public-minded thinking and energize a group of people who will add to the vitality of our community. A recent survey of program graduates shows that 74 percent of our graduates are now serving on boards and committees in Cortland County, across New York State and even at national levels. Many are playing integral roles in new organizations that are making important contributions to our county every day. Others are active in fund raising, while still others have been promoted or are taking on new leadership roles within their own organizations. We asked a few graduates for their impressions of the program. Here’s what they had to say:
